I have been going to Dough Boy Donuts for over 30+ years! I grew up in Dublin and these are hands down the best donuts in the Bay Area! I ordered donuts for my girls birthday and they did not disappoint! I hope this family business is around for many more years to come!

Located in Dublin's Shamrock Village Center, Dough Boy's Donuts transports you back to the casual, no-frills neighborhood donut shop where people go to enjoy their donuts (or crepes, breakfast sandwiches) and self service coffee either to dine in at one of their booths or to-go. They have a variety of donuts to choose from but our favorite go-to donuts are: Glazed raised donut (5/5): Perfection. Light, slightly chewy and sweet without being oily nor having any aftertaste. Sometimes when I go there after 12 noon, they are sold out. Glazed donut holes (5/5): See above. Perfect for sharing with others and satisfying your sweet tooth. Plain old-fashioned donut (5/5): A bit crunchy on the outside with a cake like interior, the plain old-fashioned donut is not sweet but satisfies that donut craving. Again, it doesn't taste oily nor does it have any aftertaste. Now, if you want it sweet, then you can decide between glazed or maple. This is a family run business and the folks behind the counter are helpful.

Whenever I want donuts, this shop is my top choice. They have many varieties, each with its own unique flavor and all are excellent. My kids love the mini ones, perfect for one bite. If you love donuts as much as I do, give them a try. You definitely won't be disappointed.

WOW truly the best donut shop and 5 minutes walking from me!! I can't believe I've been disloyal all these years overlooking ya all and looking at times out of town for the best apple fritter and maple old fashion donut when I want to have an occasional celebrate and treat yo self donut!!! Or maybe it's a good thing I didn't discover your donuts till a decade later because now in pandemic we crave you anymore!! Sending so much love, appreciate and kudos to this family ran business! Wow the apple fritters are perfect crispy on the outside perfect size not ginormous and yes folx it has apples in it hahahahh!!!! Wow the old fashion maple donut was amazing I had it with my coffee this past Saturday and went fir a long bike ride and I was satisfied till my early dinner!!! So to those reading my review head in your car and head it now it's the bomb bomb fresh donuts in the area!
